Welcome to Hertfordshire Family Mediation Service. HFMS is a not for profit mediation service celebrating 25 years of mediation provision in Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.

• We help Couples who are going through separation or divorce, to negotiate all those matters arising from their situation – arrangements for children, property and finance. Mediation offers a faster, cheaper and consensual approach to ancillary matters.

• We support Children through focussing on their needs in mediation and through our “Time to Talk” childrens’ counselling service which is specifically designed for children 5 – 15 going through family breakdown

• We welcome Families with all the needs they have at a time of great difficulty and provide a variety of support services and referral ouside if we cannot help.
